Björn Wessman will exhibit paintings by colourist challenges on canvases on a monumental scale. It shows a light and shadow painting in which color energy visualizes the sensual pleasures you can experience in the Mediterranean regions Bjorn inspired by decades. Also graphics, sketches, photographs and the movie "The landscapes in me" by Janne Forssell will be shown.

During the 2000s, Björn Wessman worked with a larger suite of paintings with the title "National Parks", all in the format 170x225cm. The Art Gallery celebrates theirs 100th exhibition which Björn Wessman has received the honor of representing. Ten years ago, Bjorn´s exhibition Park were held in Hishult as when his first book of the same title came out. Now he returns with a suite of new park paintings with influences from the Irish gardens he visited 2008. New prints and drawings is included in the exhibition.
